Sara de Giles is a PhD architect and Full Professor at the Seville School of Architecture, where she graduated in 1998. She has been a visiting professor at institutions in Chile, Spain, Germany, and the USA. Since 1998, she has co-led Morales de Giles Arquitectos with José Morales. Her work has received major awards, including the Spanish Architecture Prize (2013), the Spanish International Architecture Prize (2017), and finalist recognition in the Mies van
der Rohe Awards. Her projects have been exhibited at MoMA, the Venice Biennale, and the Cité de l’Architecture in Paris, and published in El Croquis, Lotus, and Bauwelt. In 2018–2019, she co-curated the 14th Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism.
